From One Contractor to One of Kansas City’s Most Trusted Remodeling Teams

What began as one contractor with a vision has grown into a full-service design-build firm serving families throughout the Kansas City area.

Over the past decade, KCBR has continued to evolve, but our commitment to honesty, communication, craftsmanship, and an exceptional client experience has remained the same.

September 2015 | Where it all began

Anthony Myers started Unlimited Contracting with a vision to raise the bar in the remodeling industry, create employment opportunities, and build a company centered on honesty, communication, and craftsmanship.

The business began with deck staining before finding its focus in bathroom remodeling and growing into one of Kansas City’s premier home remodelers.

2016–2018 | Building a Foundation

During these formative years, we hired our first employees, added our first company vehicle, developed the KCBR Way and repeatable processes, and began building an in-house construction team.

These milestones shaped our process, our team, and the foundation of KCBR.

2018–2022 | Finding Our Focus

KCBR shifted its focus exclusively to bathroom remodeling, allowing us to strengthen our team, refine our processes, and create a more consistent client experience.

This focused approach helped establish KCBR as a trusted name in Kansas City remodeling.

2022 | Creating the KCBR Way

Over the years, we developed a design-build process centered on communication, planning, and craftsmanship.

Every consultation, design meeting, material selection, and construction phase works together to create a seamless remodeling experience from start to finish.

2022 | Growing Beyond Bathrooms

As demand grew, so did our vision. KCBR evolved from bathroom remodeling into a full-service design-build firm, creating a more complete experience for clients from the earliest design conversations through construction.

2023 | A Brand Built to Grow

As our services expanded, our brand evolved to reflect our vision.

KCBR Design | Remodel represented one trusted team guiding clients from concept to completion, all united by one purpose: “Your Project, Our Passion.”

July 2023 | Bringing the Client Experience Under One Roof

Opening the KCBR showroom transformed the client experience by bringing cabinetry, tile, plumbing fixtures, flooring, and finishes together in one place.

With guidance from our in-house design team, clients can confidently explore their options and see their homes begin to take shape before construction starts.

2024 | Building a Reputation

As our work expanded, so did the recognition.

Local publications, industry partners, and the Kansas City community began highlighting the quality of our work, the strength of our team, and the client experience behind every KCBR project.

2024–2026 | Giving Back

Since day one, we have believed our impact should extend beyond remodeling.

Through volunteering, community partnerships, and KCBR Cares, our team remains committed to strengthening the community we call home. In 2026, KCBR Cares proudly supported Avenue of Life and its mission to break the cycle of homelessness for school-age children.
