THE KCBR DESIGN | REMODEL Home Gym REMODELING PROCESS

Stage 1: Project Assessment and Consultation

Every project begins with an initial phone consultation where we learn more about your home, renovation goals, timeline, and investment expectations. During this stage, we determinewhether the project is the right fit for both your goals and our design-build approach. From there, we schedule an in-home consultation with our Owner and Designer to better understand your lifestyle, vision, and how you want your space to function. During this visit, we discuss inspiration, layout possibilities, and overall project direction while also capturing a 3D LiDAR scan of the space and reviewing a preliminary investment range. At this meeting we will provide an estimated target budget based on information gathered up to this point.

Stage 2: Design Discovery & Proposal Development

Once we’ve established the overall vision for your project, we move into a deeper design discovery phase. This process allows our team to thoughtfully develop the design direction while creating a detailed and accurate project budget tailored specifically to your goals. During this phase, we verify measurements and existing conditions, schedule 1-2 Discovery Sessions with your Designer, create conceptual renderings, and begin developing initial product selections and specifications. Once complete, we’ll invite you into our showroom to review your Proposal together so you can fully visualize the scope, design, and investment before moving forward. A Proposal Fee is required to begin this process and is credited toward your project when moving forward with KCBR.

Stage 3: Final Design & Final Selections

After officially partnering with KCBR and securing your projectstart date, we begin finalizing the details that bring your vision to life. You’ll work closely with your Designer through a series of Final Selection Appointments to finalize all materials, finishes, fixtures, and design details for your space. At the same time, our Production Team coordinates product ordering and project logistics to ensure everything is organized and prepared for construction. Prior to construction, we’ll conduct a Post Design Walkthrough at your home where we review final details, discuss logistics, and introduce you to your Project Director, who will oversee your project throughout the build process.

Stage 4: Construction

Once construction begins, our team works closely together to ensure every detail of the project is executed with care and precision. The first day of construction is focused on preparing and protecting your home before active work begins. Throughout the remodeling process, your Project Director will serve as your primary point of contact, guiding communication, scheduling, and project updates along the way. We also utilize Buildertrend, our project management platform, to keep you connected and informed with schedules, daily logs, progress updates, selections, and important project information throughout your remodel.

Stage 5: Project Completion & Ongoing Support

As construction comes to a close, we’ll complete a final walkthrough together to ensure every detail meets the expectations and standards established from the beginning.More importantly, we believe the relationship with our clients extends far beyond project completion. Our goal is to remain a trusted resource for your home long after the remodeling experience is complete.
