Kitchen, Mudroom + Powder Bath Renovation for Returning Clients.

For this returning client, the goal was simple: a home that works hard and feels like art. We reimagined the kitchen, laundry, and powder bath using bold materials, smart storage, and a nod to mid-century style. The result is warm, functional, and full of personality.

The kitchen is anchored by rich walnut cabinetry with features such as tiered drawers, designated spice and oil storage, a hidden appliance garage, and a pantry with pull-out shelves. We added a beverage center (complete with liquor cabinets and wine storage) to keep things fun, while a standout granite island invites gathering and everyday cooking rituals.

The material palette is tactile and intentional: underlit floating shelves in granite, a full-height granite splash topped with counter-to-ceiling textural tile, and a live-edge walnut mantle that brings natural shape into a space of clean lines. We kept the range hood minimal, tile-wrapped and sculptural, so the rest of the space could shine.

We knocked down walls to turn the laundry room into a laundry/mudroom combo, complete with coat cabinets, shoe storage, and enough space to drop bags and breathe.

Lighting was layered to shape the mood: pendants, sconces, and subtle under-shelf glow add just the right amount of vibe, day or night.
This home is now equal parts studio, kitchen, and chill zone, designed for a family that loves to cook, live, and gather in style.
